Models shimmered down the runway at Naeem Khan’s Fall 2016 show. New York, the city Khan calls home and its fascinating art deco and architecture inspired his new collection. The grand ladies of New York in the 20’s and 30’s were also an inspiration to Khan.
Khan is best known for his exceptional hand beading and embroideries. Oozing opulence and glamour, his Fall 2016 collection is bound for the red carpet. Khan is a favorite on the red carpet with the likes of Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, and even First Lady Michelle Obama.
The beauty look was like a painting inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt. Aveda Hairstylist, Jon Reyman, created a victorian-inspired hairstyle while Maybelline New York Makeup Artist, Gato, created a look inspired by art-deco beauties.
The finale was incredible and touched everyone’s heart while Khan walked down the runway hand-in-hand with the young and courageous, Trinity Faith Moran. Khan partnered with Make-A-Wish foundation and made Trinity’s fashion dream come true, to walk the runway during New York Fashion Week. She looked ravishing in the red custom gown he designed her. She was the star of the show!
