The uptown department store, Fivestory, located at the heart of Madison Avenue, hosted an event with Swarovski and The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to celebrate the nine designers nominated for a Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. \u00a0They created “objects d’art” to be sold with profits donated to Free Arts NYC, a nonprofit that provides children and families in need with educational arts and mentoring programs. \u00a0I had a fabulous time viewing all of the sparkling personalized decor and home accessories that have been crystallized by the designers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
