Thoughts on the meal:
Everything tasted wonderful and it was a special dining experience at home!
The salad was almost too pretty to eat, topped with beautiful and vibrant flowers! The asparagus soup was smooth like a gazpacho and topped with poached prawn and buttery brioche.
The sea bass texture was heavenly and the chive beurre blanc complimented it perfectly. The bison was flavorful, tender and unlike any red meat I’ve had before.
Of course, I saved room for dessert! The strawberry shortcake was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal! Also, the chocolate hazelnut tart brought back childhood memories of Nutella.
We sipped on two wonderful local wines, Vidovich Vineyards 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon and Calera 2015 Chardonnay.
