I had the pleasure of spending a couple nights at The Bungalows at Calistoga, a modern yet quaint set of bungalows located off the main road cutting through downtown. It was a treat after spending the last three months inside (due to Covid-19).
Complete with a kitchen and outdoor dining area, the Bungalows at Calistoga is the perfect spot to continue social distancing while on vacation. If you feel like going out and about, you can walk into town for groceries, dinner or to enjoy one of the many hot springs around.
Located at the top of Napa Valley, Calistoga is a charming town that has been a California retreat since the 19th century. It’s seen its fair share of noteworthy Californians stop through; from miner forty-niners of the Gold Rush to the author Robert Louis Stevenson who wrote the book The Silverado Squatters while spending some time at the hot springs back in 1884.
After a couple days soaking in the hot springs, eating well and relaxing, it was quite hard to leave the Bungalows at Calistoga. Until next time!
Looks like a great place to stay and relax .
Calistoga is a favorite place of mine to visit. Good to know about these cute cottages.
