Seeking an escape to the North Coast of California? Stop by Brewery Gulch Inn. It’s named by Travel + Leisure magazine as one of the top 100 hotels in the world.
Create memories that will last a lifetime and fly in style with Butterfly Aviation on a private helicopter. It was a treat to skip the windy roads of Highway One and have more time to spare! Viewing the Mendocino Coast from the sky is a surreal experience.
Wake up to the delicious scent of spruce and pine trees and walk out onto your private deck to take in a gorgeous view of the ocean. The Redwood Room is a delight and I especially enjoyed warming up by the gas-lit fireplace and the bathroom with spacious shower and Molton Brown bath products. All rooms have details featuring eco-salvaged redwood including the frames of the French doors, windows, and deck railings.
We did not have to leave the inn for meals as the hotel rate includes a full cook-to-order breakfast, evening wine hour, and light dinner buffet. Daily menus incorporate organic produce and flavors that scream Mendocino. Evening wine hour features local beers and wines from award-winning vineyards in Mendocino and Sonoma counties.
The experience at Brewery Gulch Inn is so relaxing and enjoyable that you won’t want to leave! Guests can entertain themselves with the small library of of books, board games, and a 500+ DVD collection.
It was my first time visiting Mendocino and I had a fabulous time! The service at Brewery Gulch Inn is exceptional and the inn captures Mendocino’s luxurious yet laid-back vibe perfectly. I can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely blog post and beautiful photos!!!! I will definitely look into staying at Brewery Gulch when we book our trip to Mendocino. Great idea to take a helicopter 🚁as I don’t like driving on windy roads. Can’t wait to see where you are headed next.
