For over 90 years, the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel has identified with true San Francisco luxury. Perched atop Nob Hill, the hotel is located at the intersection of three cable car lines capturing the essence of San Francisco. It also offers a central location to all of the city’s best-known attractions, i.e. Fisherman’s Wharf, Embarcadero, Union Square, etc.
From the moment you first glimpse at the crystal chandeliers and velvet armchairs in the grand lobby, the InterContinental Mark Hopkins transports you to a “luxurious state of mind”.
I love that the hotel combines old-world aesthetics with gracious service and new-world amenities. Upon arrival, I was surprised with a thoughtful note, wine, and cheese. I enjoyed unwinding in my suite’s elegant seating area and taking in stunning city views.
The InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco is also home to the legendary Top of the Mark sky-lounge, famed for its panoramic city views. It’s a great spot for happy hour and to meet friends in the evening as there is live entertainment! Top of the Mark also offers a spectacular Sunday brunch that features an elaborate buffet with delicacies and gourmet food.
I also enjoyed taking the elevator down to the Nob Hill Club on the first floor. It’s an intimate restaurant and lounge featuring a farm-to-table dining experience. I’ve eaten at the club several times and it is consistently good and the service is very attentive and kind.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. It’s a fabulous place and has a special place in my heart. Treat yourself and experience the InterContinental Life!

Beautiful blogpost of a beautiful girl at a beautiful hotel! I will definitely visit when I’m in SF next. Thanks for the great details!!!
Looks like you had a fabulous time. I Love the Top of the Mark, my favorite place in SF to have a cocktail. I’ve never stayed at the Mark Hopkins but will plan to do so on my next visit. Can’t wait to see where you are off to next.
The combination of old and new world aesthetics drew my attention.
I would definitely visit the Mark Hopkins Hotel.
Those fur cuffs are so fun.
How does it make you feel wearing those?
Does it make you wish all your clothing had fur cuffs?
